Institutional Partners

Not a sponsorship. An institutional alignment.

The Mandé Institute convenes the people who steer the world's legal systems. Partnership here is not a logo on a banner. It is a seat at the table where the direction of the law gets decided, and a hand in what gets decided there.

Why Partner

The profession has never had a table like this.

Most legal gatherings offer a place on a list and a slot on a stage. The Institute offers what a serious organisation values more: standing among the people who set the direction of legal systems. The judiciary, the firms, the regulators, and the institutions shaping how the law is led.

Chief justices. Managing partners. General counsel. Regulators. The people whose decisions shape courts, firms, policy, and legal education across the jurisdictions the Institute convenes.

Who Convenes

Who your partnership puts you among.

The Institute is built for a narrow group, not a broad industry. It brings together leaders who rarely sit at the same table: the ones who decide, rather than the ones who watch.

01
Judiciary & Chief Justices

Judiciary from Caribbean, Commonwealth, and international courts. The people who set the standard for how the law is applied.

02
Law Firm Leadership

Managing partners and senior partners from regional and global firms. The people who decide on mandates, talent, and institutional direction.

03
General Counsel

In-house leaders from financial institutions, multinationals, and public bodies. The people who hold legal authority at scale.

04
Regulators & Policy Architects

Leaders from regulatory bodies, government ministries, and multilateral institutions. The people who write the rules the rest of the profession works within.

What It Means

What partnership actually means.

Involvement takes five forms.

An illustration of several paths, the forms involvement can take
01
Delegate places

Full places in the programme for members of your organisation. Not observer passes. A seat in the working sessions, on the same terms as everyone else at the table.

02
A hand in the agenda

Selected partners co-host working sessions or contribute to the questions the Institute convenes around. Substantive involvement in the programme, not a branded slot on it.

03
Content and research

Association with the Institute's intellectual work: the essays, frameworks, and findings that carry the questions forward between convenings, distributed through institutional channels.

04
The standing network

The Institute is a standing body, not an annual event. Partners hold year-round access to a network of legal-system leaders that compounds with every edition, and to the work that continues long after everyone has flown home.

05
Institutional standing

Association with the Institute across its communications, publications, and convenings. Positioned as an institutional partner, in the company the name keeps. Not a commercial sponsor.

Forms of Partnership

Four forms. One standard.

There is no rate card. Partnership takes the shape that fits what an organisation brings and what it is looking to do. Four forms describe the range. Every one is held to the same standard: alignment with the work, and the quality of what you add to it.

Lead Partner
Lead institutional alignment
The principal partner of the Institute.
Deep involvement across the programme, the convening, and the standing work between editions. The organisation most closely associated with the Institute itself.
  • A full complement of delegate places
  • A co-created working session or keynote dialogue
  • Lead association across the Institute's materials
  • Year-round access to the standing network
Strategic Partner
Senior institutional positioning
A visible, senior place in the work.
Prominent association with the Institute across the programme, communications, and the delegate body, for organisations that want a senior position in what the Institute is building.
  • Delegate places in the programme
  • Involvement in a working session
  • Strategic-partner association across materials
  • Content and research association
  • Year-round network access
Knowledge Partner
Intellectual contribution
For organisations with expertise to bring.
Co-hosting a working session, or contributing research and findings to the questions the Institute convenes around. Partnership measured in substance, not spend.
  • Delegate places in the programme
  • A session or research contribution
  • Knowledge-partner association
  • Co-publication of content
Regional Partner
Caribbean and Global South
The ground the Institute begins from.
For bar associations, regional governance bodies, and institutions anchored in the Caribbean and the wider Global South: the ground the Institute begins from, and argues outward from.
  • Delegate places in the programme
  • Regional-partner association
  • A delegate pathway for your members
  • Regional content association

Every form is shaped in conversation. What an organisation contributes, and what it takes part in, is settled together, not selected from a menu.

Activations Partnership

Partner before the flagship. The earlier entry point.

The Activations run year-round in Barbados: closed salons, institutional workshops, and next-generation sessions. Co-hosting or underwriting an activation is the earliest entry point into the Institute, and the fastest path to Summit partnership.

Partners are chosen the way the programme is chosen: for what they bring to the work, not for what they bring to the budget. Where the alignment is right, everything else follows.

Discuss Partnership

If the alignment is there, we would like to talk.

There is no standard package to choose from. Tell us about your organisation. The conversation starts there.

We look forward to continuing the conversation.
